Saint Vincent College has a rolling admission policy; that means, we will notify you of our admission committee’s decision shortly after we have received all of you credentials. Our programs allow students to begin in the fall, spring or summer term.
Completed applications must be submitted two weeks prior to the first day of class to be admitted for that semester. If the application is not complete by the deadline, the candidate will be reviewed for admission for the following term. It is beneficial to apply early for the semester in which you would like to start classes.
If you are thinking about applying to one of Saint Vincent College’s Graduate Programs, we encourage you to contact the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education. We are happy to discuss the application process and assist you in any way. We can help you get started and ease your fears about returning to college. Students are welcome to stop in our office in the Robert S. Carey Center, Room 21-C, appointments are recommended but walk-in appointments are welcome.
Once the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education has received your completed application, it will be evaluated by the admissions committee. You will be notified of the decision shortly afterward (typically within two weeks). After acceptance, applicants may reserve a place on the roster by making a deposit of $100 required by all graduate students. The deposit will be credited to the applicant’s account, but is not refundable. After the reservation deposit has been made, students will meet with their advisor and register for classes. Students are encouraged to submit their deposit and meet with their advisor soon after being accepted.
