  • The 33rd Annual Wimmer Scholarship Competition

    Boniface WimmerSaint Vincent College established the Wimmer Scholarship Program to give recognition and substantial financial awards to high school seniors who have achieved academic success as evidenced by a grade-point-average of at least 3.5 or higher. It is expected that these students will also embody the well-rounded approach to life that Saint Vincent College seeks to further develop in its students. 

    The competition offers a top prize of a full tuition, room and board scholarship. Second through fifth place winners receive a full tuition scholarship. The competition is comprised of an exam that includes subject matter in English, Mathematics and general knowledge. Prospective students must complete the exam on campus in a set period of time on the exam date. 

    The 2013 Wimmer Scholarship Competition takes place on November 23, 2013. High school seniors with a GPA of at least 3.5 or higher may register themselves online or by calling the admission office by Friday, November 15th. They must also submit an official copy of their high school transcript to verify their qualifying GPA (this transcript may also be used to complete their application file) and complete the application for admission form by the date of the test.
