The best thing about SVC: I love how small and beautiful SVC is, especially the trees. I also love how all of the staff is easy to reach, and someone can always answer one of my million questions. The sky's the limit---(What you would love to do after college): I hope to work with a non-profit organization that educates women in other countries and promotes equality and prevents sexual slavery. I also hope to adopt a few children and adopt rescue animals. |

Why you like being a Phonathon caller: I enjoy hearing about the experiences of alumni; very friendly staff. The best thing about SVC: People are very friendly; it's unusual to walk around campus without someone saying "hello." The monks also make St. Vincent a very comfortable place. Name: Lydia Gibson Hometown: St. Marys, PA (Elk County Catholic HS) Major: Vocal Performance with a minor in Theology Activities/Hobbies: SVC Singers, The Company, SVC Players Why you like being a Phonathon caller: Because you get to hear people's stories and their connections to Saint Vincent. The best thing about SVC: I've made some of my closest friends here and everyone is so kind whether it be at work or in the classroom. It's great to have the smaller classes so you can get more of a hands on experience. The sky's the limit---(What you would love to do after college): Perform in a major opera house one day and possibly get involved with music ministry. |
