  • The Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion

science_center1is a clear testament to Saint Vincent’s commitment to high quality education and to the loyalty of our alumni and friends who so generously invest in our future.

The largest building project in Saint Vincent’s history, this $39 million project will enhance the education of every Saint Vincent student. And, in true Benedictine tradition, it not only serves our students and the entire Saint Vincent community, but alumni, friends, and guests of the College will enjoy the special areas this building has to offer such as the Dr. Frank J. Luparello Lecture Hall, the Angelo Taiani Planetarium, and Astronaut Exhibit.

Naming opportunities remain for gifts starting at $25,000, and all donors of $5,000 or more are recognized on the Donor Wall in the atrium lobby.

Special spaces have been designated to memorialize the Benedictine priests who built the foundation for the school’s longstanding success. Donors of $1,000 or more will be recognized in the lab of their choice. The Benedictines to be honored include:

Fr. Edward Wenstrup, O.S.B. Genetics Lab
Fr. Owen Roth, O.S.B. Anatomy Lab
Fr. Maximilian Duman, O.S.B. Botany Lab
Fr. Edmund Cuneo, O.S.B. Dean’s Suite
Fr. Bertin Emling, O.S.B. Organic Chemistry Lab
Fr. Joel Lieb, O.S.B Physiology Lab
Fr. Roland Heid, O.S.B. General Physics Lab

Additionally, several special tribute and class projects are underway. For information on these current projects, or if you would like to initiate a class or tribute project of your own, please contact the Development Office.

Just as a building goes up one brick at a time and everyone is important, so it is with the gifts given to make this project possible. ALL gifts, large and small are encouraged and welcome!
To make a gift now, select “Make a Gift” on the left side of this page and indicate “Science Center Building Fund” as the gift designation. If you would like information regarding Named gift opportunities, one of our Development Office staff would be more than happy to help you.
