Dr. Junlei Li has been a member of our faculty since the summer of 2013. He was attracted to Saint Vincent College because of the Fred Rogers Center and its connection to Mr. Rogers, which makes sense considering he is our visiting professor in Early Learning and Children's Media.
Dr. Li does not have a favorite class - instead, in his words, "it's the students that make me love the classes." He is grateful for being able to teach in small classrooms, which allows him to get to know each student.
He does not mind teaching across multiple departments and in multiple fields, "so long as it relates to serving children in the end." And since arriving at Saint Vincent, he has already made a tangible difference among students, starting the student research and development group 'Incubator 143' with the goal of incubating positive change for children’s development by integrating developmental science and communication. His favorite part about Saint Vincent? "Small is beautiful."
