    The best way to get to know a college, its environment, people and offerings is by seeing it in person. We strongly encourage you to visit our campus. There are many options, explained below.


    Get Acquainted Days (Open House)

    Get Acquainted Days These visits, geared for a large audience, feature a series of short talks on academics, admission procedures, financial aid and college life at Saint Vincent. In addition, the day includes a tour of the campus by current students and an opportunity to meet with faculty of various academic departments and programs. Saturday July 16; Sunday, Aug. 21; Sunday, Sept. 11; Saturday, Oct. 8 .

    Academic Spotlight Days

    Collaborative Learning ProgramThese visits allow you to gain in-depth insight into the vibrant small classroom experience, active engagement with faculty and in demand academic majors that you find as a St. Vincent College student. Meet students and faculty with similar interests as you participate in classes with your peers. Also available through your visit will be a presentation on the challenging Honors Program and student guided campus tours. Monday, Jan 18 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) and Monday, Feb. 15 (President’s Day).

    Individual Campus Visits

    Campus Visit ThumbFor high school juniors and seniors, we provide personalized visits tailored to each student's needs Mondays-Fridays at 9am, 10am, 1pm and 2pm. The visit will include a tour of campus and time with your admission & financial aid counselor.  You may also request to meet with a coach or faculty member. Plan to be on campus for approximately 2 ½ hours, adding about another ½ hour for each additionally requested meeting. Accepted students are also encouraged to include observing a class in their day. Please allow 5 business days notice if wishing to meet with a coach, faculty member or other specially requested meeting, or sitting in on a class. For simply a tour and time with the admission & financial aid counselor, 24 hours notice is acceptable.

    Weekend Information Sessions

    Weekend Ind Visit ThumbWe are open select Saturdays for group information sessions and student-led campus tours. The information sessions begin at 10 a.m., followed by the campus tour. Please plan to be on campus for approximately two hours. Saturday, Jan. 16; Saturday Jan. 23

    Overnight Visits

    Overnight Visit ThumbOvernight visits are available for ACCEPTED students only when the college is in session. The prospective student will eat dinner on campus and spend the night in the freshman residence hall with a host. The following day, the prospective student will sit in on 1-2 courses within their areas of interest and meet briefly with their admission & financial aid counselor. They may also request to meet with a coach, faculty member, and/or a representative from an extracurricular activity. Plan to be on campus until about 1 or 2pm the following day. For a list of available dates and to schedule an overnight visit, please contact the Office of Admission at 724-805-2485.

    Overnight visits are not offered to transfer students. 


    Focus Day

    Focus Day Thumb Focus Day provides accepted students with the opportunity to take a closer look at our academic and student life offerings. Parents and students can choose to participate in programming designed to answer their final questions as they prepare to make a decision on where to attend college. Take part in financial aid programming, learn more about becoming a Bearcat at the next steps to enrollment presentation, participate in panel discussions led by current students, parents of current students and alumni, experience campus through guided tours (including time in the freshman residence hall), and join in other activities that illustrate why Saint Vincent is a great fit for you.
