  • About the Program

    doveSpecifically designed for advanced high school and first-year college students, the Faith and Reason Summer Program offers participants a unique Catholic college immersion experience, and an opportunity to come to a richer, deeper understanding of the Catholic faith.

    In this program, participants will:

    • Explore the relationship between faith and reason 
    • Examine the perennial questions of humanity 
    • Develop their communication skills 
    • Learn how to analyze difficult arguments 
    • Prepare for college studies 
    • Integrate their moral, intellectual and spiritual development


    Eligibility

    Students must be at least age 15 to participate.

    Cost

    The cost of the program is $495, which includes room and board.

    About the Director

    michael_kromDr. Michael Krom received his Doctorate in philosophy at Emory University in 2007 and has been an assistant professor at Saint Vincent since that time. His forthcoming book is on religion and politics, and he has previously published works in areas of Catholic social thought.
