Guest Parking and Seating
Guest Parking
All parking lots will be open to the public. Members of the Public Safety staff will direct traffic to appropriate parking areas. A shuttle service will be in operation throughout the day. Parking for those with special needs and the physically challenged is available. Please present a 2013 Commencement special needs parking pass to the Public Safety Staff to be directed to the special needs area. Special signage will direct traffic to the special needs drop-off area located to the left rear of the Student Center. This drop-off area is designed for easier access to the gymnasium by use of an elevator. Families and guests are urged to arrive in time to be seated by 1:45 p.m. The procession will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Ushers will be available.

The ceremony will also be broadcast on a large screen in the Performing Arts Center. Please refrain from bringing unnecessary items (large packages, backpacks, etc.) to Commencement. Safety precautions may necessitate the random search of suspicious items. There will be a designated area to store strollers during the ceremony. Please see an usher for directions. A sign language interpreter will be in attendance. For the safety of our graduates, access to the stage as well as to the aisles in the faculty/graduate section will be restricted during the conferral of degrees.
