  • Online Commencement Form

Students in Procession 1All graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony are required to complete the Online Commencement Form, which will be available between Monday, Feb. 22 and Thursday, March 17. This will provide a single location to gather all information regarding Commencement, eliminating the need to communicate with multiple offices. Through this form, graduates will be able to: 

    • Order ceremony and senior dinner tickets
    • Confirm attendance at Commencement
    • Order academic attire
    • Order name cards and announcements
    • Confirm phonetic spelling of name to be read at ceremony
    • Request special needs passes and tickets
    • Provide information to Public Relations for publicity

In order to comply with fire and safety regulations, admission to the 2016 Saint Vincent College Spring Commencement ceremony will be by ticket only. A ticketing system has been devised and is listed below:

    Phase One: Feb. 22 – March 17, 2016

All degree candidates who have applied for graduation through the Registrar's office will be guaranteed six (6) tickets in the Gymnasium. All additional tickets will be issued for general admission seating in the satellite viewing areas. Between Feb. 22 and March 17, seniors or their families may fill out the online Commencement form to reserve their tickets. To avoid confusion, please designate one person to fill out the online form. Please fill out the form completely to ensure that your needs will be accommodated. Reservations will also be taken for the Senior Class Reception Friday, May 6. Graduates do not need tickets for either event. The cost for Senior Class Reception tickets for family and friends is $17.50 per person. Changes to ticket requests will be accepted through Friday, April 8. Orders for academic attire and announcements must also be placed at this time. Any requests received after March 17 will need to borrow academic attire and will not receive name cards for announcements.

    Phase Two: Ticket Distribution

On April 18, all tickets will be distributed at the Senior One-Stop Shop in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Gymnasium. Since all seating will be reserved, every effort will be made to seat families together at the ceremony.

After April 18, additional tickets for satellite viewing areas only will be available for pickup in the Event and Conference Services Office, located on the second floor of the Fred M. Rogers Center. Additional tickets to the Senior Class Reception on Friday, May 6, in Melvin Platz will also be available at this time.

Please direct all questions regarding Commencement ticketing to the Event and Conference Services office at 724-532-5030.
