    About Dr. Nichols:

    Dr. Nichols is an Assistant Professor of Education. Prior to becoming a full-time assistant professor, Dr. Nichols was the Director of Human Resources at Saint Vincent College. Early in his career, Dr. Nichols was an elementary teacher and an instructional coordinator for the Greensburg-Salem District. Later, after he received his doctorate degree in School Administration at the University of Pittsburgh, he performed duties as a Middle School Principal, Director of Elementary Education, and Director of Instructional Services for the entire Greater Latrobe School District System. Before leaving public school education, he was employed as the Superintendent of Schools at Greater Latrobe and as a Superintendent for the Hempfield Area School District. Dr. Nichols currently teaches the undergraduate courses for professional seminar and supervises student teachers, and teaches graduate courses in Educational Jurisprudence, Current Issues and Trends, Classroom Management and Educational Leadership.
