  • What Can I Do With a Major in Marketing?

    Marketing students conduct original survey and observational research, experimental studies, focus groups, advertising campaigns, marketing plans, and business simulations. A marketing education yields a powerful basis on which to earn an M.B.A. or Ph.D., or develop a successful business career.

    • In 2010, ranked by the ETS “Major Field Tests in Business” in the top 7.5% of the nation in marketing out of 685 accredited (i.e., ACBSP and AACSB) business schools.
    • The McKenna School encourages practical work experience through internships that we help students secure via an outstanding Career Center and a strong network of McKenna School alumni.
    • The McKenna School offers SAP certification. SAP’s comprehensive business software suite is utilized by thousands of prominent world class companies (e.g., Kennametal Inc., Heinz Corporation, KPMG, Latrobe Specialty Steel Co., Siemens, …)
