Ms. Lisa Thackrah

Instructor, Clarinet and Saxophone

Lisa Thackrah received a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Ohio University and a Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of South Carolina. Currently, Ms. Thackrah is the general, instrumental and vocal music teacher at Christ the Divine Teacher School in Latrobe, PA. She performs bass clarinet frequently with the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra and clarinet/saxophone in local theatre and high school musical productions throughout the Westmoreland area. Ms. Thackrah also sings and plays clarinet with the St. Vincent Basilica Parish Choir and is a violinist in the Laurel String Quartet. A member of the Westmoreland County Music Educators Association and the International Clarinet Association, Ms. Thackrah maintains a private studio in Latrobe where she teaches clarinet, saxophone, and violin lessons.
