    Mary Beth McConahey holds a BA in political science from Saint Vincent College and an MA in politics from the Claremont Graduate University, where she is a PhD candidate. Her dissertation, The Politics of Scandal: Private Vice and the Public Good, focuses on the personally corrupt behavior of public servants and its pernicious effects on American political life. She served as Events Coordinator at the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy from 2006-2009.
