    Mary Beth McConahey is the Assistant Director of the Center for Political and Economic Thought and a Lecturer in Politics at Saint Vincent College. She took her Ph.D. in Political Philosophy and American Politics from the Claremont Graduate University in 2014. Her book, The City and Sex: Private Vice and Public Scandal in the American Republic (Lexington, 2015), studies corrupt public officers and laments the consequences of their service.
