9:00a.m.-11:30a.m. “Video Games Kids Play” Presenter: Steve Kuniak MSEd, NCC, LPC This training provides information on Video Game Play. Examples of types of games, ratings, gamer language, etc will be presented.
11:30a.m.-12:30p.m. Lunch (Placid Hall)
12:30p.m.–3:00p.m. “Social Media and Mental Health Usage Trends” Presenter: Ryan Klingensmith MA, LPC, NCC Addiction Medicine, WPIC, UPMC This training reviews areas that teens are most in danger on the internet. It highlights categories of social networking such as: gambling, chat sites, message boards, untraceable texting/sexting, instagram, gossip/rumor spreading sites, etc.

DESCRIPTION: This is K-12 S.A.P. Training, designed for new members of either a S.A.P. team or an E.S.A.P. team who have not completed the initial training with their team. FEE: $355.00 per participant. This includes all training materials, and break sessions. REGISTRATION: Contact the Prevention Projects at (724) 805-2050 on or before Wednesday, November 6, 2013. There are a limited number of openings for this training. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. NOTE: You must contact your district's Safe and Drug Free Schools funding coordinator prior to registration to inform him/her of your district's training needs.
