Barkowski, a biology and theology double major from Natrona Heights, has been named the 38th annual winner of the President’s Award, Saint Vincent College’s highest student honor, presented to the member of the graduating class who best embodies what the Catholic Benedictine, liberal arts college values in its students – outstanding academic achievement, student leadership and community service.

    Despite protests that he had papers to write and studying to do, Saint Vincent College senior Renold Sossong voluntarily submitted to the “arrest” warrant presented by Jim Lowers for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and transported him to the temporary “jail” at the Supper Club at the Greensburg Train Station.
