    The Center for Political and Economic Thought at Saint Vincent College, in cooperation with the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government, will present a lecture by Dr. Christopher Tollefsen, Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the Fred M. Rogers Center at Saint Vincent College. Admission is free and open to the public.

    Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host a free seminar for business owners who are interested in learning about contracting opportunities with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The seminar, “Doing Business with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on campus.

    Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will return for their second appearance on the Saint Vincent College Concert Series stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Performing Arts Center. Artists of the company will be dancing various Pas de Deux, accompanied by piano and recorded music. Artistic Director is Terrence S. Orr, and the pianist will be principal pianist Yoland Collin.
