Learning Objectives
- Students obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration will possess the necessary prerequisite coursework to satisfy the standards of our accrediting agency (The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs). Students will possess knowledge in the following areas: management, accounting, marketing, economics, statistics, finance, business ethics, legal environment of a business, business policies, quantitative skills, global dimensions of business and information systems.
- Business majors will develop applied tools relevant to their discipline to make them more marketable.
- Students graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business administration will develop the requisite intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills allowing them to ethically address complex real-world problems.
- Students will improve their written, quantitative, and oral communication skills.
The McKenna School’s Business Education major focuses on the
technology and computer skills utilized in today’s business world. At
the same time, students receive the necessary background to eventually
pursue a high-end MBA degree and/or business career. Combined with an
outstanding curriculum of education courses, our graduates are well
prepared for their teaching careers.
