Curriculum - Major - Minor Faculty
International Business Learning Objectives - Students obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration will possess the necessary prerequisite coursework to satisfy the standards of our accrediting agency (The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs). Students will possess knowledge in the following areas: management, accounting, marketing, economics, statistics, finance, business ethics, legal environment of a business, business policies, quantitative skills, global dimensions of business and information systems.
- Business majors will develop applied tools relevant to their discipline to make them more marketable.
- Students graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business administration will develop the requisite intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills allowing them to ethically address complex real-world problems.
- Students will improve their written, quantitative, and oral communication skills.
International business majors receive a firm business
grounding in all aspects of international trade and international
finance. Simultaneously, an appreciation of global cultures is fostered.

- The McKenna School provides students with hands-on experience
assisting area firms with their global marketing plans and export needs.
Students develop a high degree of language proficiency in at least one foreign
language. The primary business languages, Chinese and Spanish, are both
offered at Saint Vincent College. Students are encouraged to pursue and
assisted with educational opportunities and internships abroad.
