Michael P. Krom received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Emory University in 2007. Since then he has been teaching as an assistant professor at Saint vincent College on a broad range of topics such as philosophy of science, political philosophy, and feminism. His current research focuses specifically on Hobbes's political philosophy, and more generally on the history of political thought. Recent publications include "Vain Philosophy, the Schools, and Civil Philosophy" (Hobbes Studies 20 (2007): 93-119) and "Modern Liberalism and Pride: An Augustinian Perspective" (Journal of Religious Ethics 35.3 (September, 2007): 453-478).
