Greetings from Saint Vincent College!
Thank you for your interest in Saint Vincent College! The Office of the Dean of Studies in coordination with the Office of Admission and Financial Aid, has prepared this information to facilitate the preparation and issuance of the required visa documents to enable international students to engage in programs of study at SVC.
In order to
ensure the process goes smoothly and is completed within a timely manner, it is
extremely important that you read these pages very carefully and follow the
instructions. This will avoid delays in the processing of your visa documents
once you have been admitted to the program.
The
Process for Issuing Visa Documents for International
Students
- You must
submit all application materials directly to Office of Admission and Financial
Aid. (Deadline of June 30 for Fall Semester, and October 31 for Spring
Semester)
- The amount of
time that it takes for a submitted application to be reviewed and an admission
decision made ranges anywhere up to several weeks.
- Once an
admission decision is made, and upon receipt of a copy of an admission letter
from the school, department or program, your financial support information will
be reviewed in the Office of the Dean of Studies.
- If the financial support information submitted is acceptable, a visa document (I-20) is then prepared and sent to you.
Be sure to contact your local US Embassy for visa application procedures. You should anticipate a fee of $100.00 USD and a waiting period of 3-4 weeks prior to your interview, however be sure to check their website as it is likely to have a full list of procedures.

Saint Vincent College has satisfied the requirements and is recognized as a higher education member of the Council of International Schools.
