Please carefully read and follow the procedures outlined below. Failure to follow these procedures will delay your application for admission. If you have any questions about any aspect of the application process, do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admission and Financial Aid at 1-800-782-5549 or email us at admission@stvincent.edu
1) Complete and submit the Application for Admission.
2) Complete and submit the Supplemental Application for International Students.
Be sure to complete all sections of the form, including the Certification of Financial Resources. While Saint Vincent College does take financial support into consideration when making admission decisions, submitting a completed form with the appropriate supporting documentation will speed up the process of issuing a visa document to you once an admission decision has been made.
3) Submit original or certified copies of the original and official academic record, transcript, or examination results for the completion of secondary education.
Official documents not issued in English must be accompanied by a certificated English translation.
4) Submit the application fee of $25.00 by check made payable to Saint Vincent College.
The application fee cannot be waived or deferred. The application fee is nonrefundable.
5) Submit an official result of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
The minimum acceptable score is 550 on the paper-based test or 213 on the computer-based test. Test results must be submitted directly from TOEFL. Copies of TOEFL results will not be accepted. The institution code for Saint Vincent College is #2808.
6) Submit an official Scholatic Aptitude Test (SAT).
While there is no minimum acceptable SAT result, academic background as evidenced by secondary level grades or examination results in combination with SAT results show strong preparation in Math and English indicating the potential for success in an undergraduate program of studies leading to a bachelor’s degree.
Once you have been accepted, Saint Vincent College will send you an official acceptance letter accompanied by an I-20 form. The I-20 is a necessary document for receiving your student visa. However, prior to arranging an appointment with the US Embassy/Consulate, you must pay the SEVIS FEE.
