DAVID A. COLLINS
ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMISSION AND FINANCIAL AID
dcollins@email.stvincent.edu Dave is the assistant vice president for admission and financial aid. He previously served Saint Vincent College as director of admission. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration with a minor in psychology at William Paterson University of New Jersey in 1975, and a master of education degree in student personnel administration at Texas Christian University in 1977. Prior to joining the Saint Vincent staff, Dave served as Senior Associate Director of Admission at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He previously had been Director of Admissions at Slippery Rock University and prior to that had served as Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dave, who also is the former owner of a college counseling and consulting business, is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling. In his spare time, Dave enjoys collecting baseball memorabilia and vintage milk bottles. David and his wife Nancy have a son that teaches German at Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio. Dave is a native of Merrill, Wisconsin.
DONNA EDMONDS

A member of the Admission and Financial Aid Office since 1997, Donna works with prospective students and their families from Westmoreland County in Pennsylvania.Donna is a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School in Lehigh
County, Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English
from Susquehanna University. While at Susquehanna, she participated in
a study abroad program at Oxford University in England. Prior to coming
to Saint Vincent College, Donna was an associate director of admission
at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She also worked at
the Community College of Allegheny College as an advisor for new
students. Donna earned her Master of Arts degree in English from
California University of Pennsylvania.
DEBORAH W. KILLIMAYER

Deborah joined the staff as a part-time financial aid counselor in January 2001. She earned an Associate degree from SUNY Cobleskill and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Technology from California University of Pennsylvania. She was previously employed as a computer programmer/analyst for the Westinghouse Credit Corporation in Pittsburgh and for the State of New York. Deborah is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Financial Aid Administrators. She and her husband, John, an engineer at Westinghouse, have two children, Christine, a sports broadcaster, and David, currently a college student. They reside in Unity Township.

Kim came to SVC in April 2003 after serving as
Financial Aid Manager for Hunter Consulting, Inc. and, previous to that, Financial
Aid Officer at Cambria County Area Community College (now Pennsylvania
Highlands Community College). She has a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and a Master of Arts Degree in Student
Affairs in Higher Education, both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of both the Pennsylvania and
National Associations of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She and her husband, James, have two young
sons, Reese and Aaron. She enjoys
spending time with them, traveling, baking and photography and is a member of
the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greensburg.
CHRISTINA ANDRAE

Christina Andrae joined the Saint Vincent College Admission and Financial Aid staff as a Counselor in April 2006, and was named an Assistant Director in August 2007. Prior to coming to Saint Vincent, she spent over three years as part of the Admissions and Financial Aid staff at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Christina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, in 2000 with a music major and sociology minor. In 2002 she earned a Master of Music degree at Penn State where she was also a graduate teaching assistant in the School of Music. Christina enjoys working with prospective students throughout the admission and college selection process, and believes strongly in the outstanding liberal arts education that Saint Vincent offers. Her territory includes Ohio and the following seven counties in Pennsylvania: Washington, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Mercer, Crawford, and Erie.

Heather joined the Admission and Financial Aid staff as a Counselor in August 2007. She works with prospective students from Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. Heather is from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Laurel Highlands High School. A 1998 graduate of Saint Vincent College, Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and an Addiction Specialist Certification. While attending Saint Vincent, she served as Copy Editor and Co-Editor of the The Review, the college’s student-run newspaper, participated in several clubs and organizations, and received the Award for Academic Excellence in Sociology upon graduation. Heather received her Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Ursuline College in Ohio. She lives in Greensburg.

Pat is a part-time admission and financial aid counselor. He retired from the Greater Latrobe School District where he taught English in the senior high school for 35 years. A 1964 graduate of Saint Vincent College, Pat and his wife of 33 years, Mary Ann, have three daughters. Melissa teaches Spanish at the secondary level, Kelly (C'95) works in human resources at Westinghouse, and Cara (C'97) is an elementary school teacher in California. Pat has lived in Latrobe for more than 40 years, likes the area, and is excited about the growth of the College. He enjoys being able to work with young people and their parents, advising them about their career goals and helping them decide the best path for their college education. Pat remains very active in his church and community in various capacities. In his spare time, he spends time with family.

Michael joined the staff as a Counselor in April of 2000. He represents Saint Vincent College at schools and college fairs in central Pennsylvania and the state of West Virginia. A 1998 graduate of Saint Vincent College, Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Information Arts with a minor in English. As a student, Michael was a four-year member of the Bearcat basketball team and captain in his junior and senior years. He was also recipient of the prestigious John Granish Award and of the KDKA and Cogo Extra Effort Award. He is a 1994 graduate of McKeesport Area High School.

Melissa joined the administrative staff as an admission counselor in
fall of 2001 and is responsible for recruiting students in Allegheny
County. A 1993 graduate of Monessen High School, Melissa earned a
bachelor of science degree in communications media with a minor in
journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1997. She was
awarded a master of education degree by California University of
Pennsylvania in 1999. While a graduate student at California
University, Melissa served as an admission counselor. She comes to the
Saint Vincent staff after serving as an administrative assistant at a
corporate supply company. She and her husband, Yancy Sobek, an eighth
grade social studies teacher at the Charleroi Middle School, reside in
Belle Vernon and are members of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen.
AMBER A. KEEFER

Amber joined the admission staff in fall of 2005 as an Admission & Financial Aid Counselor. She is currently the campus events and visits coordinator for the office, directing our Get Acquainted Day programs, overnight visits and other facets of our visit program. Originally from Wisconsin, Amber moved to Pennsylvania in 2000 to attend Chatham College, where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. After graduating, she first served as an admission counselor at her alma mater for two years before joining the staff of Saint Vincent. She currently lives in North Huntingdon with her husband, Max, and they are members of Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church in White Oak. Amber enjoys assisting students through the college search and admission process, and believes strongly in the opportunities a liberal arts education from Saint Vincent can offer.

Jessica joined the Saint Vincent College Admission and Financial Aid staff as a Counselor in June of 2006. She is the coordinator of transfer and international student admission, and graduate financial aid. She is also responsible for recruiting undergraduate students in Florida and the U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, etc.). Jessica previously served Saint Vincent College as the graduate assistant to the Dean of Students, working directly with the Office of Multicultural and International Student Life (OMISL), the Advanced Certified Emerging Leaders Program, recipient of the 2006 NASPA Excellence Gold Award for Leadership, and The Review, Saint Vincent College’s student-run newspaper. A 2001 graduate of Woodland Hills High School in Churchill, Pennsylvania, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a minor in criminology at Saint Vincent College in 2004, and a Master of Arts degree in higher education at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania in 2007. While at Saint Vincent, she participated in a study abroad program at Richmond International University in London, England. She also held leadership positions on the Orientation Committee and the Student Government Organization. Jessica is a recipient of the prestigious Horatio Alger Award for Distinguished American Scholars (2001) and the Saint Vincent College Service to the Community Award (2004). She currently resides in Latrobe.
CHANELL WADE

Chanell joined the Saint Vincent College Admission and Financial Aid staff as a Counselor in August of 2007. She is responsible for recruiting students from Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Chanell is from Rochester Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Quigley Catholic High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts concentrating on Business Administration and a minor in English in 2005 from Saint Vincent. While attending Saint Vincent Chanell was a three-year member of the Women’s Basketball team serving as a captain her senior year. She was a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team for a year, was a member of several clubs, served as a prefect in the residence hall her senior year, and was named in Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. She is currently a graduate student at Robert Morris University for her Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership. She resides in Latrobe.
