This weekend SVC had its annual Halloween Dance. Now, I am not one for dances, but I had to go because I had the greatest idea for a costume and I was determined to win one of the cash prizes the Programming Board hands out to the winners of their costume contest.

 The categories this year were funniest, best couple, best group, most impressive design of a cardboard box, most unique and scariest. I was set of winning the cardboard box one because who wouldn't want to win in that category? Well, obviously only me because I was the ONLY one who utilized a cardboard box for my costume.

 See, I got the idea from a magazine to dress up a like a picnic table. I used an old box I had, glued on red gingham fabric, glued on paper plates and some plastic food and even a few spiders and I was transformed into somebody's lunch under spider attack. It was a winner in my eyes and in the judges' too because that baby one me a fat $25 check. Hurray for free money!
