Good News Blurb!

I got a lot of cool classes for next semester! Being a junior is way cooler than being a sophomore. Well, as far as getting classes you want anyways. I’m sure more work and less fun factors into that equation somehow. Anyways, I will be taking acting and film studies. Yay movies! I’m all about that. I’m not much for acting, but I love pretending and goofing off. It should be fun. I also have two environmental classes where I get to play outside in galoshes and look at bugs and tree roots and that sort of stuff. As you may detect, I hate (and I mean hate) sitting in a classroom and learning passively. I only have 2 classes where I have to sit down and listen and one of them is with my favorite teachers, Professor Gil-Montero, so I will probably survive. I wish every class were interactive. Someone should invent an alternative college, maybe I will someday…

Also, the benefit concert my club, the Human Rights Organization is planning is shaping up nicely! Again, we’re raising money for a local family in need. We’re featuring student and local bands and musicians on Friday April 25, 2008 at the top of Alcuin. Tickets are $3 and t-shirts are $10. You should come! The t-shirts are so cool. I’m so excited about this concert.

Gotta run. Clase de Espanol is calling mi nombre (my name).
