So, Generation, I believe, is Saint Vincent College's best kept secret. Back when my teachers were students younger than myself, and maybe even before that, the Generation tradition was started. Generation is in a word, our school's literary magazine. But it is more than that. I think it's just wonderful because everyone in the school has the opportunity to showcase their work, both literary and artistic. I just love seeing what other people can produce. It is a really cool way to see people in a new light. This is my second year working on the Generation staff (yes, it's a class!) I really love it. We ask people all over campus to submit their work and then as a staff we critique the work we receive. What we like goes into our magazine and our website. The website is linked to the school's English page, you oughta check it out, it's pretty cool. We get some really cool stuff submitted. My favorite section is the art. We really have some very talented and creative artists at St. Vincent. The magazine takes a lot of work, but it's a blast. It will be coming out in April/May. Look for it on campus. It's free! PS: Congrats to the Steelers. I caught the last 10 minutes while waiting for the new season of The Office to start. That was pretty intense and Holmes defs deserves MVP.
