Hello friends.

This weekend, my best friend Nicky and his roommate Jimmy were in our student-run theater program, The Company's production of Seussical. For those of you who have seen the show, you know how crazy fun it is. For those of you who have not seen, just imagine the crazy books of Seuss with all of his imaginative characters set to music. Jimmy starred as Horton the Elephant and Nicky was a monkey, as one of the Wickersham Brothers. If you have read "Horton Hears a Who," you will know who both characters are. My personal favorite characters was the Cat in the Hat portrayed by Nicky's old roommate, Adam. I loved this character because not only did he portray Oprah Winfrey giving her live studio audience all humpback whales, and Jose the sexy pool boy, he also got out into the audience and climbed around AND reenacted a scene using naked Barbie dolls. I died, needless to say.

The show was so great that I went twice! 

Also, this week we had our very first Calcutta meeting. Nicky, who is helping to plan the trip, made us all little booklets containing information about each of the 12 people going and the 3 alternates, so that we could get to know the people we will be traveling with. We also talked about the health issues and traveling problems. It's an 18 hour flight and we have to like 20 shots before we get there. So crazy, but so worth it. Also, we're going to be spending two days in Munich, Germany on the way home from India! I'm so excited.
