So the Tom part comes in because this semester I am working as a Tom's Shoes Volunteer. For those of you who do not know what Tom's is, allow me to explain. Tom's Shoes is a group that sells shoes and for every pair of shoes purchased, Tom's not only donates a pair of shoes to a child in need, but directly delivers the shoes to the children. It's just a great program that I love being a part of. See, I am a campus representative. It is my job to plan two campus events for Tom's and my first event is next Friday. It's called a Style Your Sole Party and students can purchase shoes and then decorate them with pens, paint, glitter, the works. It's been a lot of fun, but it's consuming me! Then there's Bill, good old William Shakespeare. My play is coming along nicely, but oh man is it work. We meet not only for rehearsals, but for dance rehearsals as well because my play contains three dance sequences. Fellow blogger and my dear friend, Jillian J will be dancing right alongside behind me. It's a good thing my show is a comedy and it's alright if we dance like idiots. We'll just pretend it's on purpose. 8) Lastly, Hutch, my benefit concert is taking up quite a bit of my life. The plans are coming along nicely though. We have about 12 bands/performers lined up and a lot of people are excited for this year's concert. The theme this year is "Love Is a Mixed Tape." I got the idea from a great book of the same title and I've always thought that music is a great expression of love and what better way to theme a benefit concert? I'm getting ready. So should you! April 24!
