Hello all. This week is purely insane. Tonight is the Visting Writers' Series at SVC. I helped plan the the event and the dinner before the event, which I am lucky to attend, so I'm thrilled. We will be featuring writers and husband and wife Rick Hilles and Nancy Reisman. I am very excited to get to meet these two writers and to be a part of this exciting inaugural event on campus.

 Also this week, tomorrow is a q & a breakfast with the writers and English faculty and many English majors. I also planned this event and look forward to it greatly.

This Thursday is my 21st birthday. I'm really looking forward to this and not for the reasons you'd think (I don't and won't drink), just mainly because all of my friends and I will get together and we don't ever get to do that because of our crazy schedules. I will have to report to you how that goes.

Also, this week kicks off all the Halloween festivities at SVC. I love it because SVC is "haunted" so they go all out. On my bithday, they have a huge haunted house. I'm excited for it!
