You know what's the best? When you're in the "zone" and you're working on the lab report that has more pages than Angelina has children, and by that I mean 20 and you can even see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and then BAM! the computer gives you the finger and checks out for the evening. That is just the best. Not that anything like that has ever happened to me. Nope. Never. Pssh. Oh man, I could have died. I would say I could have cried, except I did. A lot. Wailing might be a better verb, if you wanna play madlibs. This happened about 12:35 am, when I had been working on the report for a full and don't fall off your chair, 12 hours. When it rains in my life, no umbrella can undo the damage done. This was like a nuclear bomb on prom night bad. I worked to recover the paper, could only manage to find 8 pages. 8 out of 20. I mean, are you kidding me, oh powers that be? So I forged ahead for another hour and then said forget this. My face was tear-stained, my eyes were red and blotchy and I'm sure my hair was dirty. Bad news bears all around. I went to bed and work in the morning early. It took me about 2 hours to undo the damage. I couldn't believe it. However, I guess because I was in the right mindset, I could have moved a freaking building I was so determined to be done. Be prepared for days/nights/wee hours of the morning like this, my friends.
