Rumors are swirling that a certain SVC student blogger, who shall henceforth be referred to as "Ralph Waldo," may have a sort of fan-base accumulating.  It seems that Ralph Waldo is doing so well for himself that he even receives emails from admirers across the country.  Considering Saint Vincent's profound international reputation and Ralph Waldo's talented writing, this is not surprising.  What is surprising, to me, at least, is that other bloggers have yet to receive any comparable fan mail, despite consistently providing humorous, insightful, intellectual, and on the whole professional blogging every week since the late Fall of 2007.  At most, some of these bloggers  receive emails from confused readers who cannot discern sarcasm from sincerity.  Still, the bloggers are patient and kind through it all.

If the rumors about Ralph Waldo's growing popularity are true, then I congratulate Ralph Waldo on his success as a rising young star.  I wish him the best of luck in the future.  Perhaps one day he will know what it feels like to have a voice on the internet that carries some sway, changes some minds, and changes some hearts as well.
