PITTSBURGH - Following the country's defeat at Heinz Field, inside reports from Steeler Nation are describing a state of total anarchy. The Steeler government, ruled by prime minister and head coach Mike Tomlin, is on the verge of collapse.
The Battle of Heinz Field, the event that precipitated the crumbling of the Steeler infrastructure, ended after a momentous struggle between the Steelers National Army and the Jacksonville Armed Forces. Although coming back from an initial surge on the part of Jacksonville, the Steeler Army could not prevent a last-minute routing that ultimately ruined any chance of victory. Steeler Army Commanding Officer Ben Roethlisberger has been blamed for making several key tactical mistakes throughout the battle, including multiple occasions of intercepted intelligence.
In the wake of the defeat, many civilians in Steeler Nation have openly criticized the government for its handling of the Playoff War. The government insists that the Steeler Army had been weakened by casualties from prior battles and that these injuries contributed to the defeat at Heinz Field.
There are unconfirmed reports of fair-weather immigrants fleeing Steeler Nation. Many have fled into neighboring Penguins Country, a country that has been booming since its victory in the Cold War.
Steeler Nation Prime Minister and Head Coach Mike Tomlin will try to reassemble the national government and army over the summer months at Camp St. Vincent in Latrobe.
