...Ok, so I have 8:30ams all week, so they couldn't assign a day I don't have them, but still...6:00am??? That entails getting up at 5:45 to wake up the computer and attempt to get on the server along with 50 bajillion other people - and yes, there are 50+ bajillion students at SVC. So that took like half an hour because it was being slow...not that I blame the poor thing, the sun wasn't even close to being up yet, and I sure as something didn't want to be up either. You know that phrase the "butt crack of dawn," used to refer to that part of day where the sun is just BARELY peeking over the horizon? Well quarter to six is not the butt crack of dawn...it's the colon...there isn't any light at that time (just like it's really dark in your colon! hahaha. I'm a loser, get over it). It's so depressing....But anways, the worst part about it was that I couldn't go back to sleep for an hour because I had a soccer workout to go to at 7. Sheesh. College equals no sleep. I know I know, I'm whining. I'm done I promise. Upside of scheduling at the colon of dawn: I was ahead of most of my class (yay for AP credits) so I got into most of the classes I wanted. Friday night was Spring Cotillion, which was a lot of fun. That's one of the few things I miss from high school, getting all dressed up to go to dances. It was held at Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, which was so pretty. It fit the theme - Music of the Night - perfectly; it really looked like something out of Phantom of the Opera. [picture included] Things to look forward to: Cartel concert tomorrow night! Pumped for that. Spring Fest is this weekend...something about Humvees and helicopter rides? Housing selection is next week...none of my friends I'm blocking with got spectacular numbers; the lowest was 107, so we'll see how that goes.
