Ch-ch-changes.

This week was certainly interesting, with a lot of highs and lows. Of the lows I will say little, but on the highs I shall report much. And, might I add, you will love it.

So, while sitting around outside the cafeteria selling tickets to Hutchapalooza, Kylie and I decided to take decisive action to procrastinate the various things we had to do. As such, my brilliant fellow blogger proposed that we prank Emerson’s purple car. (I have heard reports that the hue is in fact “rose,” but this is all lies). I may or may not have helped to plastic wrap cars in the past, and so put forth the motion that we do the same to his.

A few moments later, Kylie and I were sneaking out of Wal-mart, Emerson’s place of employment, with a variety of things necessary for our dastardly deeds. Sadly, we were found out before we even really got started, which was vaguely disappointing. Not only did we saran-wrap the vehicle in question, we also festooned it with streamers and balloons. All credit for the latter, however, goes to Kylie—I lack balloon skills it seems.

Anyway, we convinced Em to leave, finished up the car, and added decorative chalk drawings. We also stopped to pose for pictures, because who wouldn’t want proof of this? Once inside Wal-mart a lovely fellow by the name of Lee suggested that Kylie and I hide in a back room, all in order to scare the living daylights out of Emerson. It worked.

Afterwards Kylie and I headed to Dennys—seriously, I think I’m beginning to take up residence there, much like the Eat N’ Park back home—where she treated me to a milkshake. It was, in a word, fantastic. We made plans for other cars, but until it goes down, I cannot inform you of the details.

On the ride home it occurred to me that the year is wrapping up, and that many people still have no idea who I am—which is perfectly fine, because I have no clue whatsoever who they are either.

But, for you my dear blog readers, I figured I’d present a small glimpse into the life of Jillian. Some people pack lightly for college. I, however, pretty much took the contents of my room back home…sans my books, of course. I mourn their loss, but I’m managing well considering. But I now present to you some of the random things that make the trek from the 724 to here, and that will shortly have to be backed up and shipped back home.

1.) Puppet Jung, who accompanied Party!Ken for the majority of my senior year. I once broke him out in AP English class, insuring that my teacher, Mr. Nic, would view me as a supreme weirdo. He’s also a magnet, and is hanging out on the best metal pencil sharpener ever invented.

2.) A tea box, made by yours truly out of tea tabs and every craftster’s friend, modgepodge. Unsurprisingly, it holds tea. (I swear to you people that I DO have friends).

3.) Med tape and a mini-psychiatrists chair. This is because all distance runners are mentally unbalanced. Believe me. Why else do we view running 10+ miles as fun?

4.) Giant form of the microbe that causes Mono. I’m pretty sure it’s female, based on color and the fact that it has eye lashes.

5.) Course books, as in books you have no choice but to read. Some are good. Some…are not.

6.) Flowers, which have somehow survived from Saturday’s performance of Scenes from Shakespeare. Hopefully next year I will have more flora as well, perhaps in the form of chia-pet.

7.) Crayon hearts, made by Human Rights Organization for a fundraiser to help raise money for victims of domestic abuse. They are made of melted wax, which shows my desire to melt things.

8.) I live for music. This is pretty self explanatory. Some items not featured? Super MRSA, the African hippo made of wood, the ten commandments in marble, various pictures, a rubber ducky named Fredrick (with a ‘k,’ mind), and a box made entirely of Borders gift cards.

Yeah, that’s pretty much my life.
