Now that all of your nunchuck related queries are out of the way we can finally get down to business. Also, on an unrelated train of thought, I would like to emphatically say that my favorite option in all of Microsoft Works is the undo button. If life was only so easy...

Though the lovely picture here was not taken at Hutchapalooza, it was taken on that night, so it sort of counts. I did not have my camera at the actual concert, sadly enough.

Today I let you into the strange secret of my life. It involves hiccups, or hiccoughs if you prefer, and I also talk about horses some more, and dogs and cats for good measure. Hooray!

As an added bonus you get to see a picture of my cat Nala. Yes she was named after the character in the Lion King, but the first "a" has the long "a" sound instead of the short "a" like in the movie. Either way, it is a way better name than "Tiger" for a tabby cat.

My Internal Struggle at the Library

Well, it is Easter break, and I should be working on a paper. I did try really hard, but I just got caught up in my own head. Which is a pretty crazy place to be. It kind of reminds me of the "The Far Side" comic strip.

Just in case you are wondering, the photo displays what happens when the sun hits a CD at the correct angle, it creates a rainbow, and I am in the same room with it alone . . .

I am feeling increasingly loopy today. It is actually a reasonable hour, and I am not making sense to myself, let alone to anyone else. I suppose that writing this journal is sort of a warm up for the paper that I actually have to write. Maybe that will not be quite as incoherent.

You may be wondering why I would make such a silly title for my journal. The fact is, one of my closest friends here at SVC said that after people made a travesty of something that she feels very strongly about.

Through a series of fairly typical events I have decided that I have the attention span of a toaster. This particular toaster is broken. It is broken in such a way that the little mechanism that holds down the bread to cause it to become toast does not work. This means the bread will actually never become toast, because the bread does not stay in the toasty area long enough. So, I am a broken toaster.

Ode to the Equestrian Club

The Equestrian Club may be the best SVC club ever, except the English club, which is pretty amazing too. This is me waxing poetic about horses and trail rides. Also, I don't use the word procrastination even once.
Just in case you are wondering, I finally took pictures at the stables. No, it does not appear to be fall in the pictures, but it is pretty.

Here I am again, writing about another test. I also point out the fact that Thanksgiving is amazing. I am ready for a break from school, and from bad TV writing as well.

Katie and Kant

While studying I discovered just how important Immanuel Kant is to me. Yes, a fellow who lived and died over two hundred years ago has caught my fancy. I admit it; it is because he is just so darn cute.

The Most Radical Tuesday Ever!

I would like to alert everyone of the sarcasm that has been employed in the development of the title of this piece. Basically, my Tuesday was quite the exact opposite of "radical" which (according to dictionary.com) happens to be "superficial". I am not sure if this is strictly true, but I suppose that you should take it as it is. I now ask all who are interested to read this lovely entry and have a bit of a giggle at my day.

Well, Fall Break is over, and all of the assignments that I should have done are piling up and crushing me into oblivion. That is why I am procrastinating. I believe it is a disease.

Here is a wonderful example of a generally typical day in the life of me (Katie). I have excellent adventures doing seemingly normal things, but every day is an adventure in the life of Katie (me).

My Fun Summer

This summer was a great break from college, but then I had to work. I had a lot of fun, however, because I also got to leave the Eastern Time Zone for the first time and travel to Montana.
