Summer has struck, and struck hard. I know this because I'm bored out of my mind. With no classes, all I'm doing is working more...and working doesn't really count as non-boredom, since I think my brain goes into autopilot on the job. Imagine sleeping 16-18 hours a day, and you have my life right now.

Well, except the weekends, which are awesome...but you don't get to hear about that, heh.

Here, then, are some random musings about summer thus far.

1. I've read 6 books in 2 weeks, and one of them was 1,400 pages. This is a good indication of how bored I've been...not that I don't love to read (it's practically a default activity for me), but I seriously have almost nothing else to do.

2. 500 words a day! This is the amount of writing I've been getting done. I've been trying to hold myself to a set schedule in an attempt to get something finished. I'm notorious for half-completed works, and need to establish more discipline.

3. Krispy Kreme donuts. I'm not actually a huge fan of these (they're just straight-up too sugary for me), but I am a fan of donuts in general, so the Kremes have been sufficient.

4. Gas prices. Seriously, do I need to say more?

5. Hot tea. I am now addicted to this stuff. I may have mentioned this before, but it's still true...this Tazo Passion tea is freaking delicious, and you barely need any sugar for it.

6. My cell phone keeps turning off. I have no idea why. The battery is fine, the phone itself is new...it just turns off, and I get really paranoid about, like, missing an important call during one of these little blackouts.

7. ABBA. I listened to Dancing Queen for two hours straight the other night. I felt like my brain turned to cream cheese after the first fifteen minutes.

8. Rain. Ugh. Cut it out, you're killing my sinuses.

Oh, Red Sox are on FOX. That means I gotta go. l8r all1g@tors.
