The best way to get to know a college, its environment, people and offerings is by seeing it in person. We strongly encourage you to visit our campus. There are many options, explained below.
These visits, geared for a large audience, feature a series of short talks on academics, admission procedures, financial aid and college life at Saint Vincent. In addition, the day includes a tour of the campus by current students and an opportunity to meet with faculty of various academic departments and programs.
For high school juniors and seniors, we provide personalized visits tailored to each student's needs Mondays-Fridays at 9am, 10am, 1pm and 2pm. The visit will include a tour of campus and time with your admission & financial aid counselor. You may also request to meet with a coach or faculty member. Plan to be on campus for approximately 2 ½ hours, adding about another ½ hour for each additionally requested meeting. Accepted students are also encouraged to include observing a class in their day. Please allow 5 business days notice if wishing to meet with a coach, faculty member or other specially requested meeting, or sitting in on a class. For simply a tour and time with the admission & financial aid counselor, 24 hours notice is acceptable.
We are open select Saturdays for appointments at 9am & 10am. The visit will include a tour of campus and time with an admission and financial aid counselor. You may also request to meet with a coach (based on coach availability). Plan to be on campus for approximately 2 ½ hours, adding about another ½ hour more for a coach meeting. Please allow 3 business days' notice for Saturday visits.
Overnight visits are available for ACCEPTED students only when the college is in session. Overnights are available Sunday through Thursday evenings with a 5:30pm arrival. The prospective student will eat dinner on campus and spend the night in the freshman residence hall with a host. The following day, the prospective student will sit in on 1-2 courses within their areas of interest and meet briefly with their admission & financial aid counselor. They may also request to meet with a coach, faculty member, and/or a representative from an extracurricular activity. Plan to be on campus until about 1 or 2pm the following day.
