The SVC Parent's Fund represents annual gifts received from parents of undergraduates and alumni.  Contributions to the Parent's Fund help make possible the outstanding opportunities that are part of your child's educational experience.

Your contribution helps SVC meet its obligations for essentials such as:

• Scholarships - A large percentage of our students are able to make the dream of a college education a reality because of academic, leadership, and need-based scholarships.
• Library Materials - Your gift to the Parent's Fund helps the SVC library expand its collection and increase technological resources. 
• Technological Resources - Student computer labs, high speed internet access and "smart" classrooms are tools that your gifts provide to help SVC students move ahead in this information age.
• Student Activities - Gifts provide vital support to all student activities/programs.

What about tuition - doesn't it cover these costs?
Tuition payments do not cover the entire expense of a Saint Vincent education.  SVC underwrites almost $1,000 of every student's education - even those who receive no financial aid.  The difference is made up every year from foundations, corporations, alumni and friends - and from parents, through The Parent's Fund.

Will my gift make a difference?
Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference.  Parent support is crucial to sustain the combination of programs and opportunities unique to SVC.  Gifts to The Parent's Fund are one of the most effective ways to maintain the value and excellence of a SVC education.  The annual contributions to The Parent's Fund benefit SVC's most valuable assets - its students and faculty.
