You are welcome to join the Senior Class Legacy Committee, which is comprised of a group of seniors who represent their class. They meet monthly to plan and coordinate the Senior Class Legacy Campaign and design a marketing plan to promote the Campaign to their peers, focusing on mailings, flyers, e-mails, phone calls, and most importantly, personal contacts. Your involvement in this effort will require a limited time commitment.
Why should I participate?
It is a great opportunity for you to be part of creating a legacy from your class, to take a leadership role on campus and to have fun with your classmates!
Why does my participation matter?
Each year a new goal is set by the senior class to raise more money and to have a higher participation rate than previous classes. A strong allegiance from the SVC senior class will show the rest of the world what a first-rate institution you have attended. Large foundations, alumni donors, and other charitable organizations measure the strength of alumni support for Saint Vincent by the percentage of alumni who give. SVC will receive greater support from these groups when they notice strong support from young alumni.
For example:
- U.S. News and World Report counts participation when ranking colleges. It believes level of giving reflect the satisfaction of students and alumni.
- Both public and private grants are awarded to colleges based in part on their alumni giving percentages.
How should I give?
Participation is the key to a successful campaign. A gift of any amount of your choosing will help.

- Keep an eye out for senior class representatives seeking support for this campaign.
