Lambda Pi Eta, a national honor society for communication majors and minors, will induct 21 Saint Vincent College students on April 21. The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. in the afternoon in the Westmoreland Room, Placid Hall. The keynote speaker, Dr. Ronald C. Arnett, Professor and Chair, Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies at Duquesne University, will address the group on "Communication Ethics in the 21st century." The Saint Vincent College community is encouraged to attend. Eligibility for LPE consists of the completion of 60 college credits and an overall earned QPA of 3.00, with the completion of at least four courses in the Communication curriculum, and an overall major/minor QPA of at least 3.25. Shepherd, Lisa M. Snyder, David J. Suski, and Danielle C. Walsh. Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association. The Communication department was granted its membership this past February and is under the advising of Dr. Melissa A. Cook.
