WestPACS Arts Career Day to be held April 5
The WestPACS Arts Career Day will be held Wednesday, April 5 at the CCAC-Boyce campus in Monroeville. All students and alumni interested in arts and communication related careers are invited to attend. Registration begins at 3 p.m. with the first panel session starting at 3:30 p.m.

THE PANEL SESSIONS Advertising / Public Relations Applied / Fine Arts Broadcast / Film / Television Performing Arts / Arts Management Writing / Publishing Each panel session is presented twice, allowing students to attend two different sessions. The panels are comprised of professionals, most working in the Pittsburgh region, who will offer insight and advice about pursuing a career in their occupational areas.

ABOUT THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER Based in Cranberry Township, Butler County, Cinemanix Productions is making waves as the sole East Coast provider of “motion capture,” a cutting-edge technology that is being used in a variety of animation applications, including video games and filmmaking.
Thirty-year-old Cinemanix president Bryan Scibelli says, “My goal is to create something so that the students who are studying entertainment technology and related fields here will have a place to intern and a reason to stay in the Pittsburgh region after they earn their degrees. I want to contribute to Pittsburgh’s changing image as a hub for technology and innovation in the creative arts.”
The third WestPACS Arts Career Day promises to provide students an outstanding opportunity to learn from and network with professionals about pursuing a career in a variety of arts and communication related fields.
