Dear Visiting Athletic Trainers:
The Saint Vincent College Athletic Training Staff would like to welcome you to our campus for your upcoming athletic contest. Our athletic training facility is located on the bottom floor of the Carey Student Center, across from the weight room. Please feel free to stop in upon your visit to our campus.
FOR FOOTBALL GAMES:
The athletic training facility will open at least 3 1/2 hours prior to game time. Sideline provided:
- Four 10-gallon coolers with ice and water
- Ice & ice bags
- Cups
- Biohazard container
- Trash cans
- Two-way radios
- Portable treatment table
Vacuum splints and emergency equipment will be available on the home sideline. Our team physician will be available on the home team sideline during the game and in the athletic training room post contest.
ALL OTHER SPORTS:
The athletic training facility will be open at least 1 1/2 hours prior to game time. Sideline provided:
- At least one 10-gallon cooler with ice and water
- Ice and ice bags
- Cups
- Trash can
Vacuum splints, emergency equipment and biohazard container will be available on the sideline accessible to both teams.
ALL:
The athletic training facility will be available for your team with the following modalities: ice, moist heat, whirlpool, ultrasound and electrical stimulations. If your team is not traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer, we ask that you please call in advance and send treatment instructions signed by an ATC or physician.
We do not provide towels, water bottles and/or taping supplies. Please bring your own.
Certified Athletic Trainers will be in attendance at all in-season sports competitions that are played on campus. We do not attend golf matches that are held off-site.
