Abe is back for his senior campaign, and the seasoned veteran should provide leadership and a lot of versatility for the Bearcats in 2008.

2007: Started 27 games, splitting time between catcher, pitcher, left field, and third base... Finished with a .360 average, leading all returnees... Led team with 31 hits... Hit two homers, three doubles, and scored 19 runs... Made five appearances on the mound, striking out seven batters in as many innings... Went 2-3 with a homer against Grove City on 3/26... Went 2-4 with three-run homer at Geneva on 4/13... Went 4-6 in two-game set with Bethany on 4/14 and 4/17... Went 3-3 with a double and two RBI at Penn State-Fayette on 4/19... Went 3-5, reaching base six times, in doubleheader with Westminster on 4/28

2006: Made three appearances before missing the final 40 games with a broken hand

2005: Made 21 appearances and 16 starts at catcher... Hit .288 (15-52) with three doubles and seven RBI... went 2-3 with a double and two RBI vs. Walsh on 3-19... Picked up two hits in 4-1 win over Seton Hill

2004: Appeared in four games as a freshman for the American Mideast Conference champions... Also threw one scoreless inning on the mound

High School: Played four years of baseball, football, and basetball at Kiski Prep... First Team All-Indiana Gazette and team captain in both baseball and football as a senior... Three-time All-IPSL selection in both sports... Two-time All-ISPL selection in basketball
