Mike made a smooth transition to behind the dish last season, his first as a full-time catcher.  He brings a strong arm and a great deal of athleticism behind the dish, and plenty of pop to the plate.

2005: Started 30 games at catcher, batting .291 (25-86) with one home run, nine doubles, and 12 RBIs while throwing out five runners on the base paths...went 2-3 with an RBI in victory over Seton Hill on April 1st...went 2-3, smacking a two-run double to break the game open in victory over Seton Hill on April 5th...went 3-5 with two-run homer in loss to Juniata on April 13th...went 2-3 in victory over Geneva on April 26th.

2004: Key contributor to JV squad, seeing time at pitcher, DH, and outfield.

High School: Lettered in basketball and football in addition to baseball at Fox Chapel HS.
