This will be Mike's third season on the varsity squad, and he has evolved into a prototypical leadoff man, thanks to blazing speed and a knack for getting on base.

2005: Started 38 games while appearing in 41...Hit .304 (38-124), scoring 29 runs and stealing 15 bases in 16 attempts...committed just one error while gunning down four runners on the base paths in center field...named Honorable Mention All-AMC North...finished 3-4 with a walk against Saginaw Valley St. on Feb. 26th...went 2-3 with an RBI against Walsh on Mar. 19th...went 1-2 with two walks in victory over Seton Hill on April 1st...went 4-6 in doubleheader split with Geneva on April 26th...went 2-3 with a walk in playoff loss to Ohio Dominican on May 5th

2004: Spent entire season on varsity squad, appearing in 24 games and starting 12, stealing seven bases in as many attempts...Hit .250 (11-44) with 14 runs scored and six RBIs

High School: Played soccer in addition to baseball at Greater Latrobe HS...member of American Legion District 31 East Division Champion
