Mike is entering his fourth season for the Bearcats, and has started each of the past two years. One of the top returnees for SVC, he looks to be a top base stealer in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
2006: Started 44 games in centerfield as a junior... Named First Team All-American Mideast Conference...Hit .343 (48-140)... Scored 36 runs... Hit one home run with 12 RBIs, hitting out of the one and two spots... Stole 14 bases... Threw out four runners on the basepaths... Led team with five sacrifice bunts... Went 2-3 against Chowan on March 4th... Finished 4-6 in doubleheader vs. Baldwin Wallace on March 6th, with a home run and three stolen bases... Recorded three hits at Seton Hill on April 1st... Went 2-4 with two RBIs vs. Point Park on April 9th... Recorded two hits with an RBI in playoff victory at Seton Hill on May 5th... Went 2-4 with a stolen base the following day
2005: Appeared in 41 contests, making 38 starts... Named Honorable Mention All-AMC... Hit .304 (38-125) with 11 RBIs and 29 runs... Stole 15 bases in 16 attempts... Made just one error in centerfield... Went 2-3 with an RBI against Walsh on March 19th... Finished 4-6 with a double and 2 RBIs in doubleheader vs. Grove City on March 31... Went 4-5 in double header split vs. Geneva on April 26.
2004: Made 24 appearances and 12 starts for AMC North champion Bearcats... Hit .250 (11-44) with 14 runs scored... Stole seven bases in as many attempts.
High School: Played three years of both baseball and soccer at Greater Latrobe... Named All-Section for baseball in both 2002 and 2003... For soccer, named Honorable Mention Finest 15 as a senior.
