The Presidents' Athletic Conference has announced that Saint Vincent senior outfielder Kenny Primeaux has received 2009 PAC all-conference Coaches Honors. PAC Coaches Honors are the equivalent of All-PAC recognition for athletes from schools like Saint Vincent that are provisional members of the NCAA Division-III. Primeaux, a native of Baltimore, MD and graduate of Perry Hall High School, put together a fine offensive season for the Bearcats in 2009. He was the lone Bearcat to start all 38 games, splitting time between right and left field, leading all regular starters with a .368 average and posting team highs in hits (46), runs (29), home runs (5), RBIs (27), and doubles (13, which tied a school record). He also stole five bases and picked up 10 walks, while striking out just nine times in 145 plate appearances, tallying an on-base percentage of .417. In the field, he also led Bearcat outfielders with six outfield assists. The 2009 season was Primeaux's second in a Bearcat uniform after transferring from Maryland's Essex Community College prior to the '08 campaign. The Bearcats finished the '09 season with an 8-30 record, and are preliminarily slated to return 25 players for the 2010 campaign.
