The Bearcats pulled away to a 95-58 victory on the road against Penn State University-Fayette. Five Saint Vincent players scored in double digits on the night, led by a pair of freshmen, BJ McGill (18) and Andy Ostach (17). The Roaring Lions kept the game close throughout much of the first half. SVC led by just six late in the first 20 minutes, but the Bearcats found their stride near the end of the frame, opening the lead to 10 by halftime, 44-34. SVC went on a 15-4 run to start the second half and the game was never close from that point on. Other top scorers for SVC were Mike Medved (12), Tre'sor Kalambay (12) and Jim Ewing (10). Ewing posted a double-double, adding 10 rebounds, while Joey Butler recorded 8 assists. SVC (15-3) is back in action on Saturday night, at Waynesburg at 7:30PM.
