The recent men's basketball golf outing at Latrobe Country Club was well supported by Saint Vincent alumni as well as the local community.

A full field of 72 golfers took to the course at Arnold Palmer's Latrobe Country Club, taking time to meet the Bearcat coaching staff and spend a day talking basketball.

"I can't thank the alums and the community enough for their support," said Coach DP Harris. "Events like this show me how important Saint Vincent basketball is to a lot of people, and in return I'm hoping we give them a good show to watch this season."

The team will begin practicing in mid-October, and the first game of the season comes up on Sunday, November 15 in the two-day York College Tournament.
