Jeff Mallory, a 2006 graduate and four-year starter for the Bearcats, has returned to the team as an assistant coach for the 2009-10 season. During his playing days, the 7-foot Mallory set school records for blocked shots and helped lead the team to three NAIA National Tournament appearances. He was the team's top scorer in 2005-06, and graduated in '06 with a degree in Public Policy. Following his career at Saint Vincent, he missed the 2006-07 season due to injury, but joined CajaSur in Spain for two professional seasons. He is looking forward to his return to the Carey Center. "It's an honor and a privelege to return to my alma mater, and I look forward to helping these young men achieve their goals, both on and off the court." Coach Mallory, a native of Bedford, VA, will assist the team's forwards and centers on the court, and will work in academic support off the court. Jeff and his wife, the former Amy Tenerowicz (SVC C'04), reside in Unity Township.
