The Westminster Titans opened up a 25-point lead over the Bearcats in the first half, going on to win by a score of 69-44. The Titans hit a three pointer right after the opening tip, but SVC scored the game's next four points, two each from Moe Hawkins and BJ McGill, to take a 4-3 lead. After that, however, Westminster took control, going on a 12-0 run, incluing eight points in succession by Ryne Murray, to take a 15-4 lead. After McGill scored to make it 15-6, Westminster went on another 10-point run to make it 25-6. The lead extended to 25 by halftime, and SVC never got within 17. Murray led all scorers with 20 points in just 21 minutes of play. For Saint Vincent, McGill scored 16, while Stephon Berry had his first career double-double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Armani Fountain had a career-best 10 boards as well. With the loss, Saint Vincent drops to 5-14 on the season. The team will be back in action on Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson at 8PM.
